Couple of updates:
1. Our road has been micro-surfaced. Just waiting for the county to paint lines on the road. ***Cars are driving faster on our road, please slow down and try to follow the speed limit! We do not want anyone to get hurt!
2. Comcast is in our street and ready to provide service for television, phone, and high-speed internet. Please call 1-888-COMCAST to schedule an installation date for your address. Note: Additional installation costs for hook-ups may be charged, depending on how far your house is from the road.
3. We live in the woods, therefore animals are amongst us.
a. Sightings of mountain lions, rattlers, and of course, the occasional bear, have been reported. ***Please make sure that you talk to your kids about safety. Maybe we'll create a place here in the website to post pictures - will keep you posted!
b. Ticks = Lime disease. Contact the Frederick County Health Department for lime disease prevention information and vaccinations.
4. Our community yard sale early this Summer (June) was a success, despite the rainy weather. We may have another one in the Fall. We would like to make this an annual event. More to come!
5. Most importantly - we have a neighborhood watch! Watch out for your neighbors at all times!
